The Well would like to connect with parents of LGBTQ youth and LGBTQ parents of youth in Hamilton’s school systems to discuss some ideas with them, like support for parents and friends of LGBTQ people and issues involving our school boards’ equity policies.
If you are a parent struggling with a child’s sexual orientation or gender identity, working through these concerns by connecting with other parents who have been through the same experience can be invaluable. If your family has worked through similar struggles, we would like to hear from you. If you feel comfortable sharing an invitation to this event with parents you know, please ask them to join us.
