HWDSB and The Well invite parents/guardians of trans and gender non-conforming youth to participate in the third of six open discussions. These conversations will provide you with an opportunity to share your experiences, challenges and concerns relating to your child’s gender identity, gender non-conformity and transitioning.

Our guest speaker will be lawyer Nicole Nussbaum who practices employment, human rights, and family law. She is a trainer and advocate with extensive experience in transsexual and transgender (trans) law and policy work. Nicole is the President Elect of the Canadian Professional Association for Transgender Health (CPATH), and serves on the Canadian and Ontario Bar Associations’ Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Conference Executive, acting as Secretary-Treasurer nationally.
