Trans* Services & Programming
The Well offers a range of trans-specific services to respond to the unique challenges and formidable barriers facing trans-identified individuals and those questioning or exploring their gender identity. Services include specialized supportive counselling, information and referral. Services focus on supporting individuals in navigating the complex and challenging legal and medical requirements for transitioning. As part of our trans-specific programming, The Well also offers a Food and Clothing Bank for trans-identified individuals who are un- or under-waged. These programs were established in response to the disproportionate levels of poverty experienced by trans-identified individuals.
